What Is SoftWave Therapy?
SoftWave Therapy, also known as SoftWave Tissue Regeneration Therapy, uses electrohydraulic acoustic waves to reach injured or irritated tissue.
These acoustic waves create a biological response within the treatment area. This response may increase blood flow, support cellular activity and encourage the body’s natural repair processes.
SoftWave is noninvasive and does not require needles, medication or anesthesia. Treatments are performed in our Naples chiropractic and wellness office and typically involve little to no downtime.
What Happens During a SoftWave Treatment?
During treatment, a trained provider applies a handheld applicator to the skin over the affected area. Acoustic waves are gradually delivered as the provider examines the surrounding tissue.
Areas that produce a response can help identify irritated or injured tissue. Treatment is then focused on those areas according to your individual findings.
You may feel light tapping, pulsing or temporary sensitivity during treatment. Sessions are generally brief, and most patients can return to their usual activities afterward.
